Solar + EV charger bundle
Solar Panels and EV Charger Bundle for Singapore Homes
Charge your EV from your own roof. We design, install and register rooftop solar and a home EV charger together: one survey, one team, one point of contact.

- Solar
- Your home
- EV charger
- SP Group grid
Why bundle
One project instead of two
Solar and an EV charger both connect to your switchboard and both need a Licensed Electrical Worker. Planning them together avoids doing the same work twice.
Installing separately
- Two site surveys
- Two reviews of your switchboard
- Two teams and two schedules
- Two companies to call if something goes wrong
With the SuperCharge.SG bundle
- One site survey for roof and charger
- One electrical design, sized for both
- One team, one installation plan
- One point of contact for support and warranty
How it works
Charge your EV with your own solar
Your panels feed your home first, and an EV plugged in during the day is one of the biggest loads it has. Every kWh the car takes from the roof is a kWh you do not buy from the grid.
When the panels make more than the house and car use, the surplus goes to the grid. If you buy from SP Group, it is credited to your bill under the Simplified Credit Treatment at the regulated tariff minus grid charges, revised quarterly. Because that credit is lower than the tariff you pay, using solar yourself, for example to charge the car, is generally worth more than exporting it.
Only home in the evening? You still benefit: the credits earned during the day reduce the bill that night-time charging adds to.
Morning
Panels start generating. The house runs on solar as it ramps up.
Midday
Peak generation. Plug in now and the car charges largely from your roof.
Evening
Generation fades. Surplus exported during the day has already earned bill credits.
Night
The grid takes over automatically, so the car is still full by morning.

Approvals and registration
Smart and battery-ready
SS 722 has been Singapore's national EV charging standard since 1 April 2026, and chargers approved under TR 25 remain valid (LTA and Enterprise Singapore). A fixed charger must be installed by a Licensed Electrical Worker (LTA) and registered with LTA before use; a home charger then needs an equipment specialist inspection every 24 months (LTA).
Pricing
Bundle pricing
Solar + EV charger
From S$12,000
Your bundle quote shows the combined price against installing each separately. For solar on its own, see landed solar sizes and pricing.
What affects the price: system size, charger power (single or three-phase), the distance from the switchboard to your parking spot, and any switchboard upgrade.

Sizing
How much solar does your EV need?
It depends on how you drive and when you charge. We size the bundle from four things.
How far you drive
Your yearly mileage sets the energy the car needs.
Your car's efficiency
Larger, heavier EVs use more energy per kilometre.
When the car is home
Daytime parking means more direct solar charging.
Your roof and bills
Usable roof area and your household use today.
See what your roof can take
Our free AI roof report estimates the system size, yearly generation and savings for your roof. It is an estimate, not a quotation; the survey confirms it.
Compatibility
Works with the EVs Singapore drives
Our Type 2 AC chargers work with these brands and more. Tell us your car and we will recommend the right charger power for it.
The process
How the bundle is installed
- 01
One survey
Roof, shading, switchboard, supply and your parking spot, checked in one visit. - 02
One proposal
Solar size, charger model and cable route, with a single combined price. - 03
Permits
Our Qualified Person handles the solar permits; we prepare the charger's LTA registration. - 04
Installation
The charger and the solar system are installed by one team. EMA says landed solar installation usually takes 1–2 weeks, weather permitting. - 05
Commissioning
Our LEW tests both, switches them on, completes the SP Group connection and registers the charger with LTA. - 06
One point of contact
One team to call for monitoring, maintenance, inspections and warranty.

FAQ
Solar and EV charger questions
Can I charge my EV directly from my solar panels in Singapore?
Yes, while the panels are generating. Your solar power feeds the loads in your home first, and an EV charging in daylight is one of the largest. Whatever the panels do not cover, including all charging at night, comes from the grid automatically.
How much extra solar do I need to cover my EV's charging?
It depends on how far you drive, how efficient your car is and how much of the charging happens in daylight. We size the bundle from your driving and your recent electricity bills, and the free roof report shows how much your roof can take.
Is it better to charge in the day or at night with solar?
Daytime charging uses your own generation, so you avoid buying that electricity at the full tariff. Solar you export is credited under SP Group's Simplified Credit Treatment at the tariff minus grid charges, which is less. So each unit you use yourself is generally worth more than a unit you export. If the car is only home at night, you still benefit through the export credits earned during the day.
Do I need a home battery to charge my EV with solar?
No. A grid-connected system works without one: the grid covers whatever the panels do not. If you want a battery later, we can make the system battery-ready from the start.
Is it cheaper to install solar and an EV charger together?
Doing both together avoids duplicated work: one site survey, one review of your electrical supply and switchboard, one design for cable routes and one team on site. Ask us for a bundle quote and we will show the combined price against installing each separately.
Do I need three-phase power for solar plus an EV charger?
Not always. A three-phase supply lets a charger deliver more power, which suits larger batteries and households with more than one EV. Our Licensed Electrical Worker checks your supply during the survey and tells you what your home supports.
Which EV chargers do you install, and are they approved?
We install LTA type-approved chargers that comply with TR 25 / SS 722, Singapore's national EV charging standard since 1 April 2026. A Licensed Electrical Worker installs every charger, and each charger must be registered with LTA before use; we handle that submission for you.
Can I add an EV charger later if I install solar now?
Yes. If you plan an EV in the next few years, tell us at the survey and we will size the switchboard and cable routes for it now, so adding the charger later is quick.
