EV charging

EV Charger Installation in Singapore

Home, condo and commercial EV chargers, installed by Licensed Electrical Workers, certified and registered with LTA for you, then monitored on our own OCPP platform.

AC or DC

Charger types: AC 7, 11 and 22kW versus DC fast charging

Most cars spend most of their time parked, which is why AC charging does most of the work in Singapore. DC fast charging earns its place where vehicles must turn around quickly.

  • AC 7kW

    Supply
    Single-phase
    Best for
    Landed homes, overnight charging

The usual home charger. A full charge typically takes a night, depending on the car and battery.

  • AC 11kW

    Supply
    Three-phase
    Best for
Landed homes with three-phase supply, condos, workplaces

Faster where the supply and the car's onboard charger allow it.

  • AC 22kW

    Supply
    Three-phase
    Best for
Condos, offices, hotels and car parks

Many cars accept only 7 to 11kW on AC, so 22kW helps mostly with cars that support it.

  • DC fast

    Supply
    Dedicated high-capacity supply
    Best for
Fleet depots, showrooms, retail and hospitality

Charges the battery directly, often in under an hour. We size the rating to your supply and how long vehicles stay.

Two limits decide how fast a car charges on AC: your electrical supply and the car's own onboard charger. A single-phase home supports a 7kW charger; 11kW and 22kW need three-phase power. A car with an 11kW onboard charger will never draw 22kW from an AC charger, so a bigger charger is not always a faster one. We check your supply and your car before recommending anything.

How it works

From site survey to your first charge

The same compliant process on every job, whether it is one wallbox or a car park of chargers.

  1. Free

    Site survey

We look at where you park, the cable route and your distribution board, and ask which cars you drive.
  2. Load assessment

We check your supply and peak load so the charger never overloads the building, and plan load management where needed.
  3. Fixed quote

A written quote with the charger, cable run and any electrical upgrades listed separately. No surprises on the day.
  4. LEW installation

A Licensed Electrical Worker installs the charger on its own protected circuit, with neat trunking.
  5. Certification and LTA registration

A charger equipment specialist certifies the installation and we register the charger with LTA on your behalf.
  6. Handover and monitoring

We set up the charger and the app with you. Networked chargers are monitored on our OCPP platform.

Compliance

SS 722 and LTA rules, handled for you

Singapore regulates EV chargers under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act. Here is what it means for you.

  • SS 722, the national standard

Singapore Standard SS 722 replaced TR 25 on 1 April 2026. Chargers type-approved under TR 25 stay valid; new chargers have a two-and-a-half-year transition period.
  • Installed by an LEW

LTA requires every fixed charger to be installed by a Licensed Electrical Worker and certified by a charger equipment specialist.
  • Registered before first use

Each charger must be registered with LTA before use, with the registration mark on within 60 days. We register it on your behalf.
  • Inspected on schedule

Landed homes: every 24 months by an equipment specialist. Condos and commercial sites: every 6 months by an equipment specialist or every 12 months by an LEW.

After installation

EV charger maintenance and inspection

A charger is electrical equipment that runs for hours every day, so it needs looking after. The law sets the minimum: periodic inspection by an equipment specialist or an LEW, depending on where the charger is, with certificates kept for at least two years.

Our EV charger maintenance and inspection service books those inspections for you, keeps the paperwork in order and fixes faults before they leave anyone without a charge. We also service and inspect chargers that another company installed.

  • Scheduled inspections

Booked to LTA's interval for your site.
  • Remote monitoring

Networked chargers report faults as they happen.

Smart charging and billing

Run your chargers on our OCPP platform

We built our charge point management platform to run our own chargers. It works with most OCPP 1.6 chargers, so you are not locked in to one brand.

  • Live status and alerts

See every charger and session in real time, with alerts when something needs attention.
  • Billing and payments

Set a tariff and let drivers start and pay for sessions in the app, for condos, workplaces and fleets.
  • Load management

Share the available power between chargers so more cars charge without overloading the supply.

FAQ

EV charger installation: common questions

How much does EV charger installation cost in Singapore?

A standard landed-home installation includes a 7kW, 11kW or 22kW smart charger (22kW needs three-phase supply), LEW installation and up to 20m of cable, with a fixed quote after the site survey. Condo and commercial projects are quoted after a site survey, because the cable route, the electrical capacity and the number of chargers decide the price.

Which EV charging standard applies in Singapore?

Singapore Standard SS 722 has been the national EV charging standard since 1 April 2026, replacing Technical Reference TR 25. Chargers already type-approved under TR 25 do not need to be re-certified, and new chargers have a two-and-a-half-year transition period (LTA and Enterprise Singapore).

Does an EV charger need to be registered with LTA?

Yes. Every fixed charger must be installed by a Licensed Electrical Worker, certified by a charger equipment specialist and registered with LTA before it is used. The installer may register it on the owner's behalf, and we do that for you. Registration fees are set by LTA and paid by the charger owner.

How often must an EV charger be inspected?

It depends on where the charger is. A charger at a landed home must be inspected by an equipment specialist every 24 months. Chargers in condos, offices and other shared or public places must be inspected every 6 months by an equipment specialist, or every 12 months by an LEW (LTA, as of 26 Oct 2026).

Should I choose an AC or a DC charger?

AC chargers suit places where cars stay parked for hours: homes, condos and workplaces. DC fast chargers suit places where cars need to turn around quickly, such as fleet depots, showrooms and retail sites. DC needs far more electrical capacity, so we size it to your supply and how long vehicles stay.

Can I install a personal EV charger at my HDB flat?

Personal home chargers are not offered for HDB flats. HDB car parks are served by public chargers deployed under LTA's programme, and MOT reports that more than 90% of HDB car parks already have charging points.

What is OCPP and why does it matter?

OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) is the open standard that lets a charger talk to a management platform. An OCPP charger is not locked to one supplier's software, so you can monitor it, bill for it and change platform later. Our OCPP platform works with most OCPP 1.6 chargers, not only the ones we install.

Is SuperCharge.SG related to Tesla Superchargers?

No. SuperCharge.SG is an independent Singapore EV charger and solar installer. We install chargers that work with all major EV brands, including Tesla, BYD, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Kia, Porsche, Audi and Volvo.
