1.About this policy
This policy explains how Hoh Say Pte Ltd (UEN 201612411W), which trades as SuperCharge.SG, collects, uses, shares and protects personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). SuperCharge.SG is a trademark of Hoh Say Pte Ltd (UEN 201612411W). “We”, “us” and “our” mean Hoh Say Pte Ltd.
It covers:
- this website, supercharge.sg, including its enquiry form;
- our free solar roof report at solar.supercharge.sg;
- contacting us by WhatsApp, phone or email; and
- quotes, site visits, installation, maintenance and the charging services we operate.
2.Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes in the next section.
Website enquiry form
Your name, mobile number, email address and the service you are interested in, and, if you give them, your property type or postal code and a message.
WhatsApp, phone and email
Your phone number or email address, your WhatsApp profile name, and the messages, photos and documents you send us. Our WhatsApp link opens a chat with us and carries nothing about you. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy also applies.
Free solar roof report (solar.supercharge.sg)
- your name, email address and mobile number;
- if you give them, your average monthly electricity bill and usage, so the report can compare your bill before and after solar;
- your property address, chosen through Google's address search, and its map location;
- the roof outline you draw on the map, and its area;
- the estimate we calculate and the PDF report we generate from it;
- a record of the consent statement you agreed to and when you agreed; and
- the status of your enquiry as our sales team follows it up, and whether each report email was sent.
Your email address is your sign-in: we send a one-time code to it to confirm it is yours. Your mobile number is not verified.
Site visits, installations and charging services
- site details, photos of your property and electrical installation, and the details needed to register equipment with the authorities, such as charger registration with the Land Transport Authority (LTA);
- for charging services we operate: charging duration and energy used, vehicle charging identifiers, payment records, and system and notification logs.
Technical data
When you use the website or the solar report, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep them secure. See cookies and analytics.
Please do not send us personal data about other people unless they have agreed to it.
3.How we use your personal data
We use personal data to:
- reply to your enquiry and prepare quotations;
- produce your solar roof report, email it to you, and let our sales team contact you about it by email and by phone;
- arrange site visits, and design, install, commission, register, inspect and maintain your equipment;
- operate charging services, including billing, notifications, support and dispute resolution;
- issue invoices and collect payment;
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including those set by LTA, the Energy Market Authority and SP Group;
- keep our website, the solar report and our systems secure; and
- send you news and offers, but only if you have agreed to receive them.
If we want to use your personal data for a new purpose, we will tell you and, where the PDPA requires it, ask for your consent first.
4.Consent and withdrawing it
We collect, use and disclose your personal data with your consent, or where the PDPA otherwise allows it. Both of our forms ask for it:
- the website enquiry form asks you to agree that we may use your details to respond to your enquiry; and
- the solar report asks you to agree “to be contacted by SuperCharge.SG about this enquiry by email and by phone”, and to your information being used for that purpose. We keep a record of the exact wording you agreed to and when.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer. We will tell you what withdrawing means for you; for example, we may no longer be able to give a quote or a service. We will then stop using your personal data for that purpose within a reasonable time, unless the law requires or allows us to keep using it.
We use your contact details only to respond to your enquiry and to provide our services. We do not send marketing messages by phone, SMS or WhatsApp. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and respect the Do Not Call Registry.
5.Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. These service providers process it for us:
- Vercel hosts this website and the solar report.
- Supabase runs the solar report's database, email sign-in and private storage for report PDFs.
- Google Maps Platform provides the solar report's address search and map, and the satellite image of your roof that can appear in your report. Google receives what you type into the address search and your property's location.
- Hostinger provides our email. Website enquiries are sent from our ops@supercharge.sg mailbox to info@supercharge.sg. The solar report's sign-in codes and report emails are sent from support@supercharge.sg, and its new-lead alerts go to info@supercharge.sg.
We also share personal data, as needed, with:
- licensed professionals working on your project, such as Licensed Electrical Workers, charger equipment specialists and Qualified Persons;
- authorities and utilities where an installation requires it, such as LTA, the Energy Market Authority and SP Group;
- for condo charging, the MCST and its managing agent, to the extent needed to run the service;
- our professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors; and
- anyone we are required or permitted by law to disclose it to.
Within SuperCharge.SG, only staff with a sales or administrator account can see solar report leads, and our mailboxes are read only by members of our internal team whose tasks need them. Our service providers may use your personal data only to provide their service to us.
6.Transfers outside Singapore
The solar report's database, sign-in and report storage are held by Supabase in its Singapore region.
Our other providers, Vercel, Google and Hostinger, run their services internationally and may process data outside Singapore. When personal data is transferred overseas, we take steps, such as relying on the providers' contractual commitments, to make sure it receives protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
7.How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or for legal, accounting or business reasons, such as honouring warranties and keeping equipment inspection records.
Solar roof report
- If you never received a report, we delete your account and data 12 months after your last activity.
- If you received a report, or became a customer, we delete them 7 years after your last activity.
- “Last activity” means your last sign-in, or the last change to your details, property, roof, estimate, report or enquiry status. Deletion removes your report PDFs first and then every record about you. We keep only a count that a deletion took place.
A daily automated job applies these periods. It is currently running in a checking mode that counts what is due but does not yet delete anything. We will update this policy when it starts deleting.
Emails and enquiries
The solar report emails you a copy of your report as a PDF attachment, with a link to view it online. It also sends our sales inbox (info@supercharge.sg) an alert with a link to your enquiry that only signed-in staff can open; the alert does not attach the PDF.
Website enquiries are not stored in a database. Each one arrives as an email in our info@supercharge.sg inbox.
Emailed copies stay in the recipient's mailbox, outside our automated deletion. Copies in your own mailbox are yours to keep or delete. Copies in our mailboxes are not removed by the job above.
Emails in our mailboxes, and enquiries that do not lead to a project, are kept for 1 year and then deleted. Project and billing records are kept for 1 year after the work ends, or longer where Singapore law requires us to keep them. When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8.How we protect it
We make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal and similar risks. For example:
- the website, the solar report and our outgoing email use encrypted connections;
- in the solar report, a signed-in customer can see only their own data;
- report PDFs are kept in private storage, and open only through a signed link that is created when you are signed in and expires after 60 seconds;
- our system logs record what happened, not who it happened to: they leave out names, contact details, addresses and messages; and
- access is limited to the staff and providers who need it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs, we will assess it and notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals where the PDPA requires us to.
9.Accessing and correcting your data
You may ask us:
- for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year;
- to correct any error or omission in it; and
- to delete your solar report account and data.
Send your request to our Data Protection Officer. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible, and if we cannot respond to an access or correction request within 30 days we will tell you when we can. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you the fee before we process it. Our team handles deletion requests one by one; the solar report has no self-service delete button yet.
You can update your name and mobile number yourself by signing in to the solar report again. Please help us keep your data accurate by telling us when your details change.
10.Third-party sites and services
Our pages link to services run by others, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and government websites, and the map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
11.Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them only where a feature needs them:
- supercharge.sg sets no cookies of its own.
- Google Maps on our Contact page. The map is Google's and loads when you scroll to it. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
- Solar report sign-in. After you enter your email code, Supabase sets a sign-in cookie on solar.supercharge.sg so you stay signed in and can come back to your report. The report needs it to work, and signing out removes it.
- Google Maps in the solar report. The address search and roof map are Google's, and Google may set its own cookies when they load.
Neither supercharge.sg nor the solar report uses analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the solar report cannot keep you signed in, and the maps may not load.
12.Children
Our services are for property owners, residents and businesses, and are not aimed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer so we can deal with it.
13.Contacting our Data Protection Officer
For any question, request or complaint about your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer:
- Email: ops@supercharge.sg (subject line “Data protection”)
- Phone or WhatsApp: +65 8953 5488
- Post: Hoh Say Pte Ltd, 11 Woodlands Close #10-25, Singapore 737853
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission.
14.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. See also our terms and conditions.
