How long does it take to fully charge an electric vehicle?
Charging time depends on your car and charger type. A typical home AC charger takes 6–8 hours, while DC fast chargers can do it in under an hour.
Can I charge my EV overnight at home?
Yes, our chargers are designed for safe, unattended overnight charging. It’s convenient and cost-efficient, especially during off-peak electricity hours.
Will the EV charger increase my electricity bill significantly?
It depends on your driving habits. On average, charging an EV is still cheaper than petrol per km. We can advise on usage and savings.
Is a 3-phase charger better than a single-phase?
Yes, if your home supports it. A 3-phase charger offers faster charging, which is ideal for larger EV batteries or multi-EV households.
How long does the installation process take?
Most landed home solar installations are completed within 4 to 5 days. Site assessment and approvals typically take 1–2 weeks before that.
Can I sell excess solar energy back to the grid?
Yes, under the Enhanced Central Intermediary Scheme (ECIS), you can export unused solar energy and receive credits on your electricity bill.
Do I need approval to install solar panels on my roof?
Yes, but we handle all the paperwork, including SP Group approvals and necessary inspections. You just sit back and enjoy the savings.
